Hermann Friedrich Bruhn

Hermann Friedrich Bruhn (born January 8, 1931 , † January 1, 1972 ) was a Hamburg-based construction company.

Bruhn began his professional career at the age of 19 as a broker in an eight-square-meter office rented with borrowed money. In the early 1970s he had become the largest investor in Hamburg. By the time he passed away he had realized over “100 properties with a construction volume of 50 million marks a year and rental income of 23 million marks”. a. the Pöseldorf Center and the Hamburger Strasse shopping center .

The “Baulöwe” also achieved prominence in the Hanseatic city and beyond through his 200 racehorses and his participation in international sea races with his motor yacht. In September 1965, the radio journalist Gerd Ribatis dedicated an episode of his series Das Portrait , broadcast by WEBH, to Bruhn , which described Bruhn's career in post-war Germany in a one-hour article. Bruhn then produced a record of the show, which was published again after his death.

After his untimely death, the son of the same name now continues to run Hermann Friedrich Bruhn GmbH + Co KG.
