Peter Carlisle
Peter Benson Carlisle (born October 12, 1952 in Ridgewood , New Jersey ) is an American lawyer and politician . Carlisle was Mayor of Honolulu , Hawaii from October 2010 to January 2013 . From 1996 to 2000 he was the district attorney there.
Life
Carlisle was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey in 1952. He attended the Kent School in Connecticut and studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill . After completing a Bachelor of Psychology and English , he graduated from the UCLA School of Law .
In 1978 Carlisle moved to Hawaii, where he met his future wife Judy.
