Hermann Giesselmann

Georg Karl Heinrich Hermann Gießelmann (born September 12, 1838 in Arolsen , † July 2, 1923 in Düsseldorf ) was a German administrative officer and politician .

Gießelmann was the son of the magazine servant Friedrich Gießelmann and his wife Luise nee Ramm. He married Karoline Friederike Henriette Himmelmann in Helsen on May 10, 1863. In 1857 Gießelmann became an unskilled worker with the cadastral commission in Arolsen and on March 1, 1861 clerk at the Nieder-Wildungen district court. On October 1, 1861, he became district clerk in Korbach and, in 1884, district rentmaster of the Eder district in Nieder-Wildungen. In 1906 he received the title of accountant and in 1911 he retired.

From 1887 to 1905 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont for the constituency of the Eder district.
