Hermann Josef Seven
Hermann Josef Sieben SJ (* 1934 in Boppard ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .
Life
He entered the Society of Jesus in 1953. He made humanistic studies in Tisis in 1955 ; Philosophy (1956–1959) in Pullach and theology (1962–1966) in Lyon - Fourvière . He was ordained a priest in Munich in 1965 . He received his doctorate in Paris in 1968 at the Institut Catholique under Jean Daniélou SJ and completed his habilitation at the PTH Sankt Georgen in 1973. He taught as a lecturer and professor for the history of dogmas and councils, and patrology at the PTH Sankt Georgen from 1970 to 2002. Since 2002 he has been retired and since 2015 honorary doctor of the Universidad Pontificia Comillas .
