Hermann Kessler (born February 26, 1893 in Oberachern ; † May 12, 1968 in Karlsruhe ) was a German lawyer and politician ( FDP ).

Life

Kessler completed a law degree at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg , which he completed after the first and second state exams with a doctorate on the subject of "The Baden Law on Traffic in Land of April 15, 1919". He worked as a lawyer and notary in Karlsruhe. In 1958 he was awarded the Grand Cross of the Federal Cross of Merit.

Kessler was a member of the Constituent Assembly of Württemberg in 1946 and represented the Karlsruhe constituency from 1946 to 1950 in the first Württemberg state parliament . From 1954 to 1957 he served as an assessor in the FDP federal executive committee , from 1957 to 1961 he was a member of the state executive committee of the FDP Baden-Württemberg .
