Hermann Krause (politician, 1854)

Karl (Carl) Ernst Hermann Krause (born February 24, 1854 in Seehausen (Altmark) , † 1920 ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

Life

Hermann Krause studied medicine at the Friedrichs University in Halle in 1872/73 . In 1872 he became active in the Corps Teutonia Halle. In Halle he switched to law studies in 1873, which he completed at the Philipps University of Marburg and the Friedrich Wilhelms University of Berlin . In 1876 he entered the administration of justice in Prussia. From 1884 to 1911 he was a district judge and district judge in Waldenburg , Upper Silesia. He was then a local judge in Naumburg (Saale) . Most recently he lived again in his birthplace Seehausen in the Altmark. From 1894 to 1918 Krause sat as a member of the constituency of Breslau 7 (Waldenburg, Reichenberg) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Free Conservative Party . From 1899 to 1909 and from 1911 to 1918 he was a member of the Judicial Commission. He received the character as a Privy Councilor of Justice .
