Hermann Kropatschek

Hermann Kropatschek (born April 23, 1924 in Glemkau , Czech Republic ; † August 22, 1984 in Augsburg , Germany ) was a German composer and conductor .

Career

Kropatschek is of Sudetenland origin. He worked first in Prague and later in Augsburg. At the end of the 1970s he composed the music for One Week Full of Saturdays , a film by the Augsburger Puppenkiste . Further compositions followed. After his death, Willy Honnegger and Wilhelm Schoeneis succeeded him as composers of the Augsburger Puppenkiste.
