Ernst Emil Hermann Müller (born January 29, 1873 in Friedrichsfelde , † after 1927) was a German social democratic politician.

Life

The father was a mason foreman . He himself was a trained painter and varnisher. From 1904 he became involved in the labor movement in Berlin . At an unknown point in time, he joined the SPD . Between 1905 and 1924 he was editor of the social democratic Leipziger Volkszeitung . In 1914 he was chairman of the constituency organization of Saxony 13. In 1917 Müller joined the USPD . From 1919 he was a member of the Saxon People's Chamber and from 1920 to 1926 of the Saxon State Parliament . From 1920 to 1922 he was parliamentary group leader of the USPD. In 1922 he switched to the MSPD and was one of the three chairmen of her parliamentary group until 1924. Between January 1924 and January 1927 he was Minister of Economics in Saxony. In the Saxon conflict between 1924 and 1926 he stood on the side of Prime Minister Max Heldt . In this context he joined the Old Social Democratic Party in 1926 . Nothing is known about his further fate.
