Hermann Moser (painter, 1935)
Hermann Moser (born August 24, 1935 in Knechtenhofen, Thalkirchdorf municipality ) is a German painter .
Artistic career
Hermann Moser learned the profession of painter from 1950 to 1953, passed his master craftsman examination and studied from 1958 to 1963 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg with Professor Fritz Griebel and took courses with Johannes Itten . From 1958 he worked at Keramik Kuch in Burgthann . From 1984 to 1994 he taught writing and design at the state vocational school in Neugablonz . Since 1984 he has worked several times for the Richard Seewald Foundation in Ronco , Switzerland.
Artistic style
Hermann Moser created ceramic pictures, watercolors, monotypes and acrylic paintings . His work has been shown in many individual and group exhibitions regionally and nationally.
The collatype , in which selected pieces of paper are put together to make a single print, is a technique he invented. The motifs are then developed into fantastic compositions with color or pencil.
