Hermann Munk
Hermann Munk (born February 3, 1839 in Posen , † October 1, 1912 in Berlin ) was a German medic.
Live and act
After studying in Berlin and Göttingen, he received his doctorate at the University of Berlin in 1859 , where he was employed as a private lecturer in 1862 after his habilitation and in 1869 as assistant professor for physiology. In 1876 he became a lecturer in physiology and head of the physiological laboratory at the Berlin Veterinary School . In 1880 he was accepted as a full member of the Prussian Academy of Sciences and in 1897 was given a full honorary professorship at the University of Berlin. In 1883 he was elected a member of the Leopoldina .
He is buried in the Jewish cemetery in Berlin-Weißensee .
