War memorial "The Dead of World War" at the Nordfriedhof Düsseldorf (2019)

A war memorial in Düsseldorf's North Cemetery commemorates those who fell in the First World War . Nolte designed this monument together with the architect Hermann Goerke during the war; but it was not completed until 1921. A memorial stone by Reinhard Graner was added later.

Around 1929 Nolte made copies of the Calvary figures by Anton Josef Reiss at the St. Lambertus Church on Düsseldorf's Stiftsplatz. He used shell limestone for this . The originals by Reiss' hand, which were already quite battered at the time, are now lost.

The memorial for the 2nd Westphalian Hussar Regiment No. 11 stands on the Jürgensplatz in Düsseldorf ; it was ceremoniously unveiled on July 5, 1931. It consists of a bronze relief attached to a pillar made of shell limestone. The relief was made by the August Bischoff foundry , the architect Nolte worked with here was Hermann vom Endt .

Nolte's works also include a female nude on an elk made of dark patinated bronze. In 1911, in Art and the Beautiful Home , the artist's “pleasant little bronze groups” were praised.
