Hermann Rippel

Hermann Rippel (born July 14, 1915 in Vienna , † April 22, 2006 ) was an Austrian Reformed pastor . He was Austrian military superintendent from 1969 to 1976 .

Hermann Rippel worked as a civil servant in the Vienna city administration from 1937 to 1955. He also studied Protestant theology at the University of Vienna . He completed his vicariate at the Zwinglikirche . Rippel was a pastor at the Reformed City Church from 1956 to 1963 . The later reformed state superintendent Peter Karner was teaching vicar with him from 1961 to 1963. In the 1950s, Rippel also worked as a radio pastor at ORF . In 1963 he became a military pastor in the armed forces and in 1968 took over the provisional management of the Protestant military pastoral office. On November 4, 1969, the Oberkirchenrat A. u. HB to military superintendent. Rippel went on June 30, 1976. He retired.

In 1972 Hermann Rippel was awarded the Golden Decoration for Services to the Republic of Austria .
