Hermann Seimetz

Hermann Seimetz (born January 16, 1938 in Kostenbach , Trier ) is a Baden-Württemberg politician and was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg until 2006 .

After an apprenticeship as an iron turner from 1952 to 1955, he continued his education as a teacher via the second educational path and studied at the Pedagogical University in Weingarten from 1961 to 1963. 1963/64 he was a teacher in Wernau (Neckar) . Since October 1964 at the Messelberg School in Donzdorf , where he has also been rector since 1979.

Seimetz is honorary chairman of the CDU -Kreisverbandes Göppingen . On April 14, 1980, he entered the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg as a member of the electoral district 11 Geislingen , where he became deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in 1992. In the state elections in 2006 , he no longer ran.

Hermann Seimetz was also chairman of the Inquiry Commission "Demographic Change challenge to the country's policy" of Parliament.

Seimetz is married and has three children.

Honors

In 2006, Seimetz received the Baden-Württemberg Medal of Merit .
