Hermann truth
Hermann Truth (born September 16, 1900 in Ormesheim ; † January 19, 1981 ) was a German politician and a member of the Saarland Landtag for the Christian People's Party of the Saarland (CVP).
Life
Hermann Truth worked as a farmer in Ormesheim, at times he was mayor of his hometown. From 1947 to 1955 he was a member of the Saarland state parliament for the CVP for two electoral terms. In 1957 he ran unsuccessfully for the German Bundestag on the CSU state list .
Truth was married to Margareth, nee Albrecht. From this marriage there were four children. His son Leo Truth was later mayor of Ormesheim and first alderman of the Mandelbachtal community .
