Hermann Werner von Nagel (baptismal name: Hermann Werner Dietrich Ferdinand) (born August 29, 1696 ; † May 8 or May 6, 1747 in Hildesheim ) was official in Winzenburg.

Life

Origin and family

Hermann Werner von Nagel grew up as the son of Christoph Bernhard von Nagel and his wife Anna Odilia Charlotte von Brabeck zu Letmathe († 1704) together with his sister Appolonia Margaretha Louise (canon lady in Freckenhorst ) and his brother Edmund Friedrich Levin in the ancient Westphalian noble family von Nail up.

Act

In 1712, Hermann Werner received a cathedral praise in Hildesheim and in 1726, by papal approval, a praise in Paderborn . He passed this on to his nephew Franz Ferdinand shortly before his death . Before he began studying at the University of Paderborn in May 1726 , he was sworn up to the knighthood of Münster on January 2, 1726 . He was thus a representative of the knighthood in the state parliament , a committee made up of the three estates. His task was to regulate the tax system and from 1447 also the feudal system in the bishopric of Münster. On March 14, 1746 he became official in Winzenburg.
