Franz Ferdinand (Heidenreich Theodor Anton Johann Maria) von Nagel (born August 27, 1734, Haus Vornholz, Ostenfelde; † November 11, 1762 ) was the official dean in Winzenburg and canon in Paderborn and Münster .

Life

Origin and family

Franz Ferdinand von Nagel grew up as the son of Edmund Friedrich Levin von Nagel and his wife Johanna Rosina Antoinetta von Tastungen together with his brother Hermann Adolf in the ancient Westphalian noble family von Nagel .

Act

On 7 April 1747 Franz Ferdinand received with papal encouragement in Paderborn a Dompräbende after his uncle Hermann Werner had renounced nail. He transferred this to his brother Hermann Adolf in 1763. On May 11, 1747, he was initially assigned to the official dean in Winzenburg and sworn in as an official dean in November 1755. In the meantime he had from 1753 to 1754 in Paris canon law studies. In 1755 he received a cathedral priest in Münster after Adrian Wilhelm von Nagel had renounced it.
