Hermann von Arnim

Heinrich Hermann Freiherr von Arnim (born June 6, 1802 in Milmersdorf ; † May 3, 1875 there ) was a German manor owner, administrative officer and parliamentarian.

origin

His parents were August Abraham von Arnim (* April 6, 1753: † February 2, 1809) and his wife Magdalena Eleonore Margarete Louise von Holstein (* July 24, 1778; † December 19, 1849).

Life

Hermann von Arnim studied at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1822 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . He became the owner of the Milmersdorf manor and district deputy of the Templin district , whose district administrator he represented in 1867.

From 1866 to 1870 Arnim sat for the constituency of Potsdam 2 (Ruppin, Templin) as a member of the conservative parliamentary group for two legislative periods in the Prussian House of Representatives .

family

On April 17, 1827, he married Eva Franziska Auguste von Schmalensee (* July 13, 1808; † April 29, 1837), the only daughter of the Prussian Major General Ludwig Dietrich Karl von Schmalensee . The couple had several children:
