Hermann von Keyserlingk

Hermann Graf von Keyserlingk (born March 17, 1812 in Kabillen in Courland , † April 16, 1880 ) was a Courland landowner and state official.

Life

Hermann von Keyserlingk was born as the son of Count Heinrich Diedrich von Keyserlingk , second Count of Rautenburg and heir to Kabillen, and Annette geb. Born Freiin von Nolde. He studied at the Georg-August-University of Goettingen and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn Law . In 1828/29 he became a member of Curonia Goettingensis VII. In 1830 he joined the Corps Curonia Bonn and in 1831 the Corps Borussia Bonn . After completing his studies, he became master of Aistern and Kabillen in Courland. He was captain of the Tuckum district in Courland as well as the principal and resident district marshal of the Courland knighthood and landscape. Von Keyserlingk was active as a writer. So he wrote about the history of the Baltic Governments .
