The top of the Hermesturm

The Hermesturm in Hanover is a viewing and transmission tower built from 1956 to 1958 in a striking double-tube construction made of reinforced concrete on the Hanover Exhibition Center and is a monument. It is 88.8 meters high , including the antenna and the logo of the Hanover Fair . The Hermesturm's viewing platform is at a height of 65 meters. It offers space for around 100 visitors. There was a café above. An express lift with up to 14 visitors takes about 15 seconds to the top.

During the Expo 2000 , the art object flag by the artist Roman Signer was located at the Hermesturm, which was waved around to greet the visitors.
