Hermione Ziegler
Hermine Ziegler (born March 26, 1884 , † after 1961) was a German actress .
Life
Hermine Ziegler played her first stage roles in 1914 . From 1917 to 1930 she had an engagement at the Trier Theater . Guest performances have taken her to the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and to Frankfurt (Oder) . From 1931 to 1937 she was a member of the ensemble at the Nationaltheater Mannheim . This was followed by positions in Leipzig (1938/1939 season) and from 1942 to 1944 at the German Theater in Prague . From 1947 to 1954 and again from 1961 she was a member of the theater ensemble of the city of Cologne .
Hermine Ziegler worked in various film productions . These included the feature films Gewitter im Mai by Hans Deppe with Viktor Staal , Hansi Knoteck and Ludwig Schmid-Wildy and Der Gasmann by Carl Froelich with Heinz Rühmann , Anny Ondra and Will Dohm .
In the film adaptation of the operetta Die Fledermaus from 1946 she played the role of Baroness Rüdersheim . Marte Harell , Johannes Heesters and Willy Fritsch , among others, played in the direction of Géza von Bolváry . This film is considered a so-called defector because it was shot before the end of the Second World War , but was only completed after the end of the war.
Hermine Zieger could also be heard as a speaker in some radio plays .
