The Hidden Col (English for Hidden Mountain Saddle ) is a mountain pass in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . In the northern part of the Medina Peaks it is 7 km southwest of Marks Point and offers a suitable dog sledding route between the lower sections of the Amundsen and Scott glaciers .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. Scientists from a campaign lasting from 1969 to 1970 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition explored it and gave it its name. It is named after the fact that the pass is covered by the mountain ridges and rock spurs to the northeast and southwest.
