High is a song by the British singer-songwriter James Blunt and the first single from his debut album Back to Bedlam . James Blunt and the Scottish singer-songwriter Ricky Ross were responsible for the lyrics and music. It was first published on October 18, 2004.

In October 2005 the single was re-released, as a result of the great worldwide success of the single You're Beautiful and the album Back to Bedlam . The first release also contains the song Sugar Coated . The various versions of the re-release also include a live cover of In A Little While (original by U2 ), the self-written song Butterfly and an acoustic version of his song You're Beautiful .
