All the Lost Souls is the second studio album by British musician James Blunt . It was released on September 14, 2007. The first single in 1973 was released on August 31.
Emergence
Blunt wrote five of his songs on the Back to Bedlam tour. He then tested them in front of a live audience. In the summer of 2006 he moved back to Ibiza to write the other songs . When he came back to the island in winter, his boiler was stolen. In an interview he said that he then sat in his room with a coat, hat and gloves, playing the piano and writing new songs that were less cheerful than the ones he wrote in the summer.
Tom Rothrock, who also worked on Back to Bedlam , produced and mixed the album. Blunt was involved in all of his songs as a songwriter .
Cover
The cover is a photo mosaic made up of 1,000 images. The pictures show Blunt from his childhood to the present day.
