The High Raise is a mountain in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . With a height of 762 m it is the highest mountain of the Central Fells according to the classification of the Wainwrights . With a notch height of 283 m, it is classified as a Marilyn . There is a trigonometric point at the top .

East of the High Raise is the Dunmail Raise pass , to which the summit drops over the slopes of Grasmere Commons. On the slopes of Grasmere Commons, Codale Tarn and Easedale Tarn lie east of the summit. The high raise in the west is separated from the Glaramara by a cut in which the Langstrath Beck flows . To the south, the summit ridge continues over the Thunacar Knott to the Langdale Pikes .

The Far Easedale Gill and the Wyth Burn emerge on the east side of the high raise.
