Hilde Krasnogolowy

Hilde Krasnogolowy (birth name: Hilde Beckhausen ; born August 3, 1919 in Cologne ; † July 27, 2010 ) was an SED functionary in the GDR .

Life

The daughter of a worker completed an apprenticeship as a saleswoman after attending primary school and then worked in this profession before she was employed as a wage calculator for the Wehrmacht between 1943 and 1945 . After the Second World War , she was briefly a farm worker in 1945 and was involved in the implementation of the land reform in the Soviet occupation zone . Between 1945 and 1949 she was first local secretary and district secretary of the People's Solidarity in Grossenhain , where she also became a member of the SED in 1946.

In 1949 she began working as a functionary of the SED and first became an instructor and then in 1950 secretary of the SED district leadership in Grossenhain. In 1950 she switched to the SED district leadership of Berlin-Lichtenberg as an instructor and then from 1950 to 1952 as 1st secretary of the SED district leadership of Berlin-Treptow . She then studied at the Karl Marx party college and was an assistant there from 1954 to 1955, before she was an instructor in the women's department of the Central Committee of the SED between 1955 and 1960 . As the successor to Edith Baumann , Hilde Krasnogolowy was the acting head of this department from 1959 to August 1961, which had the status of a working group between 1956 and 1966.

After further studies at the Karl Marx party college , she finally became a political assistant in the Western Commission at the Politburo of the SED Central Committee in 1962 and worked there until she retired .
