Hilde Schwarzkopf

Hilde Schwarzkopf (born April 22, 1932 in Aussig , Northern Bohemia; † January 24, 2015 ) was an Austrian entrepreneur.

Life

In 1954 she married the entrepreneur Walter Schwarzkopf. When he had an accident in 1978, the mother of a son and three daughters took over the company ( Plansee Group ) founded in 1921 and passed this management on to her son Michael in 1996. Ms. Schwarzkopf promoted classical music by, among other things, establishing the Plansee Concerts in 1974 and, as President, from 1995 to 2000, organized the conversion of the Ambras Castle Concerts into the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music . Another passion of the former owner of two dogs and two cats was hunting.
