Hilde Siemer
Hilde Siemer (later Hilde Terstegge , born March 25, 1924 in Elberfeld ; † February 23, 2020 in Münster ) was a German shot putter .
Hilde Siemer grew up in Oldenburg and started for the local Oldenburger Turnerbund . In 1940 she became German U16 champion in the shot put in Breslau . At the German Championships in 1946, 1947 and 1949 she was third. In August 1950 she became German runner-up behind Dorothea Kreß in Stuttgart . With 12.87 m she set the German annual best performance in the women's shot put in October 1950. In the 1950s, Hilde Siemer also played field handball .
Hilde Terstegge lived in Münster from 1954 . She had five children, her daughter Sigrid is a former national volleyball player . Her niece Margret Suckale is a former manager .
