Hilke Petersen

Hilke Petersen (born January 5, 1967 in Lüneburg ) is a German journalist and television presenter . From February 24, 2009 to April 22, 2014, she moderated the political magazine Frontal21 on ZDF .

Career

Hilke Petersen completed her university studies in German , art history and law at the University of Hamburg and at the Free University of Berlin with a master's degree . After internships and freelance work at NDR television and radio at SFB and ORB , she came back to NDR , where she worked for the editorial team of N3 aktuell and to the ORB, there in the editorial team of Brandenburg aktuell . In 1994 she completed a traineeship at the SFB with a focus on politics and current affairs and then got her permanent position in the main news department of the SFB television as the final editor of the Berliner Abendschau , author, live reporter and presenter. Stays abroad took her to the ARD radio studio in London .

2001 Hilke Petersen came as a reporter, editor and circuit design editor for Today editorial team to ZDF and moved a year later to Berlin to ZDF Capital Studio . In 2007 she was a correspondent at Studio Washington . From February 1st, 2009 to April 22nd, 2014 she was the moderator and deputy editor-in-chief of Frontal21 magazine . On March 1, 2014, the journalist took over the management of the ZDF regional studio in Stuttgart and was thus responsible for reporting from Baden-Württemberg and Switzerland . Since July 2019 she has been in charge of the ZDF editor-in-chief.
