Hilmar Zill

Hilmar Zill (born September 13, 1940 in Meerane ) is a German graphic and postage stamp artist .
His career as a postage stamp artist began in the GDR , for which he created various postage stamps in the years 1970 , 1971 , 1978 , 1983 , 1984 , 1985 and 1986 . After the fall of the Berlin Wall , he also designed postage stamps for the Federal Republic of Germany in 2001 and 2002 . He is also known for making decorative plates .
Zill lives and works in Rostock .
