Hinnerk Baumgarten (born January 5, 1968 in Hanover ) is a German radio and television presenter .

Life

From 1997 to 2004 Baumgarten hosted the morning program on Hitradio Antenne Niedersachsen . In 2004 he switched to NDR television in Hanover and since then has hosted the show Lower Saxony 7.30 p.m. there from 2004 to 2006 , as well as the show Lust auf Norden until 2007 .

After moving within the NDR to Hamburg, he has been part of the presentation team for the DAS! Since September 1, 2008, Baumgarten has also been working for the radio station NDR 2 . Until September 2015, he alternated with Elke Wiswedel for the NDR2 afternoon , and since September 2015 he can also be heard at irregular intervals on the NDR2 morning . In 2012 Baumgarten moderated the North German Day , an 18-hour documentary with live parts.

In 2018 Baumgarten was warned by his broadcaster NDR after a verbal derailment towards his colleague Heike Götz .

Private

Hinnerk Baumgarten is the father of a daughter. In his spare time he drives a motorcycle and plays golf.
