The Hintere Frenke is a river in northwestern Switzerland , which rises near Reigoldswil at an altitude of 910 m. The river has its source in the Jura and flows through the Reigoldswilertal . In Bubendorf it joins the Vorderen Frenke to form the Frenke. The length of the Hinteren Frenke is 12.5 km.

The Hintere Frenke rises in the municipal area of Reigoldswil near the Wasserfallenbahn and flows into the village of Reigoldswil. It flows through the village of Ziefen until it flows into the Vordere Frenke in Bubendorf.
