Back touch Bene

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hintertupfer Bene is a folk song in Bavarian dialect , which, like a morality, deals with the fatal outcome of an attempt to open a window . The origin of the song is said to be in the Inn valley . The melody consists of the middle part of the funeral march from the Piano Sonata No. 2 op. 35 (1839/40) by Frédéric Chopin .

The name of the tragic protagonist alludes to Hintertupfing , that fictional place that literally stands for backwardness and backwoods.

From 1966 the song was made popular in a Dixieland version under the title Die Moritat vom Hintertupfer Bene by the hot dogs .

Since 1917 another joke song with the same melody on the text Through the desert of the Sahara, Nathan walked with Sarah, has been handed down.

text

In the night at half past ten, the back swab Bene
sneaks
to the window of his Stasi
and the moon shines bare and kasi.

And then he fetches a loater,
which you can hardly bear to two,
loant it on the wall oni
grod as if it were a macaroni.

As he scrambles onto the loater,
his neighbor Hiasl comes knocking over
the long loater
and Bene falls into d ' Odelgruam .

And he tried
very hard to swim out of the broth;
but he didn't succeed,
a cow dung suffocated him.

The moral of the story:
Don't go to the chamber window!
Otherwise
you feel like Bene and you fly in d 'Odelgruam ene!
