Inner- or Hinder-Valzeina is a former Grisons neighborhood in the upper valley of the Schrankenbach , a tributary of the Landquart in the anterior Prättigau coming from the south . It comprised the area above the Engi west of the brook with the settlements Clavadätsch , Gallisch Hus , on the Churberg , on Büdemji and Hanslis Boden and on the eastern side the area above the Bärentobel with Gwinn , Sunniboden , Baron , Sprecher , the Alpeggenweid , the Oberweid , the Schluocht and the floor . As part of Trimmis, the place was under the High Court of the Four Villages ; In 1851 he achieved full independence. In 1891 Hintervalzeina merged with Vordervalzeina to form the new political municipality of Valzeina , which joined the municipality of Grüsch in 2011 together with Fanas .
Around 1800 there were 20 houses with 84 inhabitants. From 1726 a contract to attend the school of Vordervalzeina is known; In the 19th century, two buildings in Hintervalzeina were used alternately as a school building. In 1829 there were 12 school children there.
