Dennis Hipke (born September 2, 1982 in Andernach ) is a former German ice hockey goalkeeper . During his career, Hipke played for REV Bremerhaven in the 2nd Bundesliga and played two games each in the German Ice Hockey League for ERC Ingolstadt and Hannover Scorpions .

Career

Hipke, whose father Alexander also played in the goalkeeper position at EHC Neuwied as a substitute, began playing ice hockey for the Kölner Junghaien in the 2000/01 season in the Regionalliga NRW . For the following season, the Andernacher moved to his neighboring town Neuwied to play in the upper league at SC Mittelrhein-Neuwied . Mainly used as a substitute goalkeeper, he completed a total of three seasons for the Rhinelander. For the 2004/05 season he moved to their league competitor EHC Munich , for which he played eleven games. At the same time, he made two appearances for ERC Ingolstadt in the German Ice Hockey League , in which he had to accept eight goals. He spent the following season with the Hanover Indians in the Oberliga and in 2006/07 in the 2nd Bundesliga in Bremerhaven, where he also received two DEL appearances for the Hanover Scorpions . Before he ended his career in favor of his sports management studies, Hipke played again in 2007/08 at EHC Munich in the 2nd Bundesliga and finally at TEV Miesbach in the major league .
