The Hirschbach is a five kilometer long left and western tributary of the Gersprenz (with the upper course called Zeilharder Bach about 7.5 km) .

The brook arises east of Reinheim - Zeilhard , flows south past Georgenhausen , north-east and then north to Groß -zimmer , where it flows into the Gersprenz .
