Hoàng Anh Tuấn (weightlifter)

Hoàng Anh Tuấn (born February 12, 1985 in Bắc Ninh ) is a Vietnamese weightlifter in the weight class up to 56 kg.

Career

At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , People's Republic of China , Tuán won the silver medal with 130 kg in the snatch and 160 kg in the jerk and thus a total weight of 290 kg. This was also the second of a total of two medals won in the Olympic history of Vietnam ; Taekwondo athlete Trần Hiếu Ngân also won silver in the Taekwondo weight class up to 57 kg in 2000 . He won another silver medal at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha , Qatar . At the World Championships in 2005 and 2006 he was able to win a silver medal. In 2010 he finished fourth at the World Championships . However, he was tested positive for Oxilofrin during the doping control and banned for two years.
