Hobbensen is a district of the city of Stadthagen in the district of Schaumburg in Lower Saxony .

The place is west of the core town of Stadthagen on the state road L 446. West of the place flows the Gehle , a right tributary of the Weser .
history
Population development
On March 1, 2015 the place had 97 inhabitants. By February 28, 2018, the population had increased to 101.
Incorporation
On March 1, 1974 Hobbensen was incorporated into the district town of Stadthagen together with other surrounding communities.
