The district of Stadthagen was a district in Schaumburg-Lippe from 1899 to 1946 . The district seat was in Stadthagen .
history
In the Principality of Schaumburg-Lippe, the offices of Hagenburg and Stadthagen were merged to form the new office of Stadthagen-Hagenburg in 1879, which was converted into the Stadthagen-Hagenburg district office in 1884 and finally into the Stadthagen district in 1899. The city of Stadthagen initially remained independent and was only incorporated into the Stadthagen district in 1934. When Lower Saxony was formed in 1946, the Stadthagen district was merged with the neighboring Bückeburg district to form the new Schaumburg-Lippe district.
