Richard Seebohm

Richard Seebohm (born July 4, 1871 in Pyrmont , † August 15, 1945 in Reher ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Retzer was a son of the Privy Councilor Dr. med. Adolph Seebohm. He attended grammar school in Hameln and studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . In 1890 he was reciprocated in the Corps Hasso-Borussia Freiburg . In the summer of 1893 he passed the trainee exam, in 1899 the assessor exam. He became a government assessor and in 1907 a councilor at the district office in the Neumarkt near Breslau district, later at the police headquarters in Berlin , with the government in Aurich and with the high presidium of the province of Hanover . On July 1, 1916, he became district administrator of the Stadthagen district . In 1937 he retired. During the Second World War he temporarily represented the district administrators in Hameln and Rinteln and, most recently, until 1945, the mayor of Bad Pyrmont.
