The University of International Economics and Logistics (HIWL) was a state-recognized, private university in Bremen . In October 2016, it was taken over by the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef Bonn (IUBH) and has since offered dual courses of study in logistics, marketing and tourism as the IUBH dual study program.

courses

The following dual courses of study are offered at the Bremen campus: Logistics management leads to a bachelor's degree after six semesters . University and practical phases take place every three months, a semester abroad is possible. The Marketing Management and Tourism Management bachelor’s degree programs alternate weekly between studies and practical phases and provide for a standard study period of seven semesters. The IUBH Duales Studium is BAföG eligible.

Carrier and location

The IUBH Dual Studies is sponsored by Career Partner GmbH , while the HIWL is sponsored by BVL Campus gGmbH . The place of study is together with the German Foreign Trade and Transport Academy (DAV) and the BVL seminars of the BVL Campus at Universitätsallee  18 in the Bremen Technology Park, in the direct vicinity of the University of Bremen .
