The detention basin Bemberg , which also Bemberger Blauenbach Reservoir or Blaubachsee is called, is one of several detention basin at Red Lake in the district of Schwäbisch Hall in Baden-Wuerttemberg . It is operated by the Brettach Water Association.

The basin is located in the district of Bemberg near Blaufelden and its district of Blaubach am Blaubach and has an earth dam as a barrier structure. Normally, the reservoir is quite small and only up to about 6 m deep in permanent traffic. At high tide it can reach a length of up to 2 km. You can skate here in winter.

Information for anglers: The main fish species are carp, tench, crucian carp, chub (aitel), pike, pikeperch, perch, brown trout, rainbow trout, eel and various species of white fish.
