Hodal is a city (Municipal Council) in the northwest Indian state of Haryana .

Hodal is located 82 km south of the federal capital New Delhi . The city belongs to the Palwal district . The district capital Palwal is 30 km north of Hodal. The Yamuna flows south 15 km east of Hodal. Hodal is on the national highway NH 2 (New Delhi - Agra ). The Palwal – Mathura railway runs through Hodal.

At the 2011 census, Hodal had 50,143 inhabitants. 98% of the population were Hindus .
