St. Irminen farm complex (Aach near Trier)
The St. Irminen farm complex in Aach , a local parish in the Trier-Saarburg district in Rhineland-Palatinate , was built in 1752. The former Hofgut at Trierer Straße 25 is a protected cultural monument .
The parallel courtyard of the Sankt Irminen monastery consists of a street-side, baroque residential building with a farm building that was formerly probably shortened to a gate passage, as well as an economy at the rear .
The ornate portal with a rich profile, which is reached via a flight of stairs, has a split segment gable above the skylight cornice . The oval coat of arms held by lions was knocked out during the secularization . The building number 1752 is affixed to the ears of the portal.
Inside, the spatial division with the arched positions of the smoke jacket is preserved. Of the furnishings, the sandstone slab for the side oven has survived.
