The Hohlaubgletscher is a glacier in the Valais Alps and begins northeast below the Allalinhorn . In 1973 it extended over an altitude range of 2680  m above sea level. M. to 3860  u m. M. and was 3.75 kilometers long. In 2004 the area was 2.256 km². The water of the Hohlaub glacier flows over the Hohlaubbach to the Saaser Vispa .

The Hohlaub Glacier is separated from the Allaling Glacier to the southeast by the Hohlaubgrat ridge . The northeast ridge of the Allalinhorn, on which the Mittelallalin mountain station of the Metro Alpin stands, separates the Hohlaub Glacier from the Fee Glacier to the northwest . Both neighboring glaciers are significantly larger. On a ledge north above the tongue of the Hohlaub glacier stands at 3030  m above sea level. M. the Britannia hut .

During the Little Ice Age , the Hohlaub glacier flowed into the Allalin glacier. Today the Hohlaub glacier doesn't go down that far. As with the Allalin Glacier, the end of the glacier is currently in steep terrain, which harbors the risk of so-called tongue slips. In the summer of 2003, such a slide of the tongue was found at the Hohlaub Glacier, but it did not lead to a major ice break, as was the case with the Allalin Glacier in 1965 and killed 88 people.
