The Vispa is a river in the Vispertal in the canton of Valais .

The Vispa was a possible namesake for the city of Visp .

The Vispa is created in Stalden by the confluence of the Saaservispa from the Saas Valley and the Mattervispa from the Mattertal . After 8.4 kilometers the Vispa flows into the Rotten or the Rhone near Visp .
