The Vispertal is a 7.5 kilometer long side valley of the Swiss Rhone Valley . Together with the Mattertal and the Saas Valley, the Vispertal is referred to as the Vispertäler .
geography
The Vispertal begins at the confluence of the Mattertal and Saas Valley near Stalden and ends at Visp . The valley is traversed by the Vispa , a tributary of the Rotten or the Rhone, which forms at Stalden through the confluence of the Mattervispa and the Saaservispa .

The communities of the valley (from the top down - so south to north) are
- Staldenried ,
- Stalls ,
- Törbel ,
- Visperterminen ,
- Zeneggen and
- Visp .
The centers of Stalden ( 795 m ), Törbel ( 1502 m ) and Zeneggen ( 1370 m ) are on the left flank of the Vispertal, Staldenried ( 1052 m ) and Visperterminen ( 1378 m ) on the right flank and Visp ( 658 m ) on Valley floor.
