Hohlstedt is a district of Großschwabhausen in the Weimarer Land district in Thuringia .

The federal highway 7 runs from Jena to Weimar between Hohlstedt and Kötschau . The district lies on a flat, elevated plain in the arable plain around Weimar and Apolda . The village is in the middle of gardens and fields.

history

The village was first mentioned on December 2, 958. The place was and is characterized by agriculture. The listed Eulensteinischer Hof is worth seeing . On December 1, 2007, Hohlstedt was incorporated with Kötschau to Großschwabhausen.
