Hoholiw ( Ukrainian Гоголів ; Russian Гоголев Gogolew ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 4,500 inhabitants.
The village was first mentioned in 1481 and was in the 17th / 18th centuries. Century a Cossack city. Together with the village of Zorya ( Ukrainian Зоря ), Hoholiw forms a district council in Brovary Raion with a total area of 9477.4 ha.
Hoholiw is 40 km east of the city center of Kiev and 8 km east of the Brovary district center on the national trunk road N 07 .
