Holger Demme (born November 25, 1962 ) is a former German soccer player . In the top division of GDR football , the Oberliga , he played for FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt .

Athletic career

The striker , who was born in 1962, established himself in the mid-1980s as a regular at BSG Motor Nordhausen , to which he had switched from BSG activist Menteroda in 1981, in the second-class league . At the turn of the year 1987/88 he was delegated to FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt , one of the state-sponsored football clubs in East German competitive sports. Demme made his debut on the 15th matchday of the 1987/88 season in the 1: 5 away defeat against SG Dynamo Dresden in the GDR upper house.
