Holger Henschel

Holger Henschel (born December 27, 1972 ) is a German football referee .
Henschel has been a DFB referee since 2000 and directed games in the 2nd Bundesliga from 2003 to 2010 . He whistles for SV Broitzem . The married lawyer lives in Braunschweig .
For the 2009/2010 season, Henschel was no longer used as a referee in the Second Bundesliga and in the DFB Cup. Henschel now acts as an assistant. Since 2010 he has also been used as a FIFA assistant in international matches.
On July 6, 2020, the DFB announced that Henschel would end his active career for the following Bundesliga season 2020/21 .
